Panty Hose and Socks - Recycle Tips
68
Got a run in your panty hose?
Recycle them. Wrapping paper stays tighty wrapped inside.
Just insert them in the legs. They stretch to three rolls in each leg.
You can stand them in the back of your closet or you can hang them on a hanger.
It's neat! You'll love it.
Use them with the Vacuum Cleaner: If you lose a small item, an ear ring, or something tiny in a tight place or if you can't find it. Hook up your vacuum cleaner, place a piece of panty hose on the suction hole and secure it with a rubber band. Hose around the area, and the lost item will stay on the suction until you remove it.
Plant ties: Cut long sections and use as plant ties. Tie up young tender plants, or larger ones to stakes. It's soft but very very strong. When the wind blows.... it gives and stretches and doesn't cut the plant.

Sock tops
Recycle your mismatched socks or worn out socks
Cut off the tops that still have good elastic
All sizes. Even baby socks
It's a great bandage
Holds topical bandages and applications in place.
Won't slip and is comfortable.
Bee Sting?
When I was a little girl, my daddy would chew up a cigarette and put the wet tobacco on the sting. I thought it was magic. But I found out later (much later) that the tobacco anesthetized it, and drew out the poison.
So I went to a tobacco store and bought a package of chewing tobacco. And I have hooked the whole neighborhood on this....and it really is magic!
Remove stinger. Place a little pinch of the tobacco in real hot water for a few seconds to wet it
Then right on top of the sting.
Use a bandaid if you want, but I use gauze.
Then Sock it! Kids love it!
Next day, no itching, no redness.
